About ICC

ICC, or more formally Inter-Club Carolinas, is an organization comprised of ladies’ golf associations from clubs across Upstate South Carolina to provide opportunities for players of all levels to come together to promote friendship through golf competitions at each member’s course. Monthly tournaments are generally played on the fourth Tuesday of each month from March to October with a Championship Tournament in October.

Who can join?

Any private golf club with a women’s organization in the Upstate of South Carolina is welcome. Contact the ICC President for more information. All women golfers who are regular members of participating individual private clubs who pay dues to their respective ladies’ golf association and abide by the rules are eligible to participate in the monthly tournaments.

What is required?

ICC is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of a representative from each member club and a President, Treasurer and Secretary. Each member club must provide a representative to serve on the ICC Board of Directors. Club representatives will coordinate players from their respective clubs for monthly tournament play. The representative should also plan to attend meetings called by the President, usually consisting of an Opening Meeting in January and a Closing Meeting in October (typically held on the day of the Championship Tournament).

Each member club pays annual dues to the ICC Treasurer in January; currently the dues are $20 per year. January is also the time that any new clubs would join ICC (in advance of the monthly tournaments that commence in March).

Member clubs share tournament hosting duties with each club hosting once approximately every other year.  See ICC Tournament Hosting and ICC Standing Rules for more information on hosting a monthly or Championship tournament.
